Austin is the APSU
Library’s database of all the materials located in the Library. Austin contains over 200,000 records describing
books, periodical titles, audiovisuals such as videos, cassettes, CDs,
and LPs, a limited number of government publications as well as selected
web sites. Items in Austin may be searched by author, title, or subject.
Austin also contains records for materials that professors have placed
on reserve for their classes. The records are searchable by Instructor name
or Course number.
Each record in
Austin indicates where the item is located, such as
General Book Collection, Level 3 and its status, such as Available or
Checked Out.
A
Quick Search of the Austin
Library Catalog is also available. Quick Search
is a new, friendlier interface for searching the Library
catalog. It acts more like a Web search, featuring new ways to
quickly and effectively narrow your results by keywords, library
location, language, and date. It is ideal for searching a broad
topic or creating a general list of library resources on a given
topic.
Austin can be accessed from
anywhere on or off campus.
