Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries is
the premier source for reviews of academic books, electronic media, and
Internet resources of interest to those in higher education. More than
35,000 librarians, faculty, and key decision makers rely on Choice
magazine and Choice Reviews Online for collection
development and scholarly research. Choice reaches almost
every undergraduate college and university library in the United States.
Each year Choice publishes more than 7,000
reviews that are:
Timely - typically the first comment on scholarly publications

Concise - brief but thorough, providing information and
recommendations Easy to Use - logical arrangement, including
data needed to order the item reviewed
Create a Choice Reviews Online Profile
Creating a Profile allows you to view new reviews each month
tailored to your interests. When each new issue goes online, you
will be sent a personal e-mail containing citations to reviews
matching your Profile. You will also, at any time during the month,
be able to go to My Monthly Reviews on the Web and view that month's
citations and reviews matching your Profile.
You must be logged in as a personal user of CRO2 to create a
Profile. Click on My Profile in the middle of the top
navigation bar. Once you have completed the personal
registration information, scroll down to the gray bar that says
Subject Areas.
