Not sure what you'll find in a particular
database? Gale PowerSearch makes it easy for you to select the
databases most appropriate to include in your cross-search by providing
an alphabetical listing of databases along
with product descriptions. You may even decide to leave Gale PowerSearch and continue your research
directly in a single Gale database.
Selecting databases:
You
will see a listing of the Gale collections to which your library
subscribes. Databases that may be included in a cross-search are listed
first. Simply select one or more databases to include in your search, or
click Select All to include all the cross-searchable
collections shown in your search. Databases that you have selected to
cross-search are highlighted.
Depending on your library setup, some databases may be selected by
default (a checkmark appears automatically). Keep the checkmark to
include the database in your search, or click to remove the checkmark.
Click the Submit button when you have finished making
your selections.
Choose from Many Search Options:
You have many search options in Gale PowerSearch
to find the information you seek, whether you wish to enter one or two
keywords, search using pre-defined subject terms, or construct complex
