The VAST Video Collection is Alexander Street’s premiere collection of academic video content. Experience hundreds of hours of online videos streamed to your desktop.  Containing 22 individual discipline collections totaling 20,000 titles of high-quality content by 2013, VAST is a one-stop multidisciplinary solution that brings video to many departments.

Videos in the VAST collection can be embedded in D2L course content.  Please view this step-by-step procedure for the recommended method to provide access both on and off campus.

American History in Video
American History in Video provides the largest and richest collection of video available online for the study of American history.  It contains  commercial and governmental newsreels, archival footage, public affairs footage, and important documentaries.

Area Studies Video Online
Area Studies Video Online covers Middle Eastern studies, Latin American, African, Eastern European, Asian, and other global communities. The collection includes films focused on cultural, political, and socioeconomic issues and provides an interdisciplinary resource for every region of the world.
