Contemporary Women's Issues
focuses on relevant topics and meaningful issues for women, such as health, human rights, development, the workplace and legal status.  It covers over 600 sources published by more than 100 organizations from around the world. CWI indexes research reports from nonprofit organizations, nongovernment organizations, international agencies and governments; journals and newsletters, including the alternative press; proceedings; pamphlets; fact sheets; media reviews; and legislative actions. 

Subjects Covered: development, pay equity, education, politics, family life, reproductive rights, gender equity sociology, health violence and exploitation, human rights, women, legal status, the workplace, lesbian concerns  

Dates Covered: 1992 to present
