SUBJECT: Circulation/Reserve Policy for Video Cassette Tapes/DVDs

I. Policy

General Policy

Students, faculty and staff members may check out VC-tapes/DVDs from the library. A valid APSU identification card stating patron status is required to obtain a loan. Fort Campbell Center students must use a current Fort Campbell Center APSU identification card. Special card holders may use VC-tapes/DVDs in-house.

A. Loan Periods

Students and staff members may check out VC-tapes/DVDs for a 3-day loan. Faculty members may check out VC-tapes/DVDs for a twenty-one (21) day loan. Special card holders may view VC-tapes/DVDs in-house only.

B. Reserve Holds

Faculty members who would like to reserve VC-tapes/DVDs for future use should complete a faculty video reserve form and turn it in to the reserve supervisor. The tape will be held for three days beyond the request date.

C. Loss or Damage

Charges for damage or loss are billed to the card holder.  For more information see the Lost/Damaged Materials Replacement Fee Policy.
