Food and Drink in the Library

Woodward Library allows food and drink in order to create a more comfortable and inclusive environment, accommodating diverse student needs and encouraging extended research and study sessions.

Policy

Sustaining the privilege of having food and drink in the Woodward Library depends on everyone's help in minimizing the risk of damage to Library property.

Users must clean up after themselves, discarding trash in appropriate containers and notifying Library personnel immediately of any spills.
Outside of Library operating hours, users are not permitted to bring in catering or arrange for food delivery services.
No food or drink is allowed in the University Archives and Special Collections (UASC) room.
Users abusing the privilege of having food and drink in the Library may be asked to leave.
