Library Information Literacy Tutorial (LILT)
The web-based Library Information Literacy Tutorial (LILT) is no longer available. We are working to completely re-design the tutorial with an estimated release date of Fall 2018. The LILT content for first-year students enrolled in APSU 1000 is available in D2L. If you have any questions, please contact Christina Chester-Fangman, Coordinator of Research & Instruction at 931-221-1267 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why is this important?
All of us (students and faculty) are responsible for fully understanding what plagiarism is and how to avoid it. We all need to learn and practice this skill both at the university and in the workplace.
For further information about what constitutes plagiarism and other forms of academic dishonesty, see Avoiding Plagiarism.
Learning how to properly make use of a style guide is an essential skill for college students. The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) is used in the social and behavioral sciences, including education. This tutorial introduces key concepts and common errors to students for use in writing papers for their classes.
