Special issue of the newspaper showing some history, but focus is on the future. No mentioning of Dix. Included is a complete listing of all Heads of The Times-Picayune throughout the years. Eliza Jane Poitevent Holbrook and George Nicholson served as Heads 1876-1878, and Eliza Jane and George Nicholson 1878-1896. Eliza hired Elizabeth Meriwether (Dorothy Dix) in 1896.
