Spoken word recordings (speeches, readings of poetry, etc.) are
located on Level 2 of the Library (ask at the Circulation/Reserve Desk).
To search Felix Online Catalog for spoken word recordings at the
library:

Click the Advanced tab

Choose the desired index (subject,
title, author, or anywhere keyword) from the drop-down box and enter your search term(s)

In the Limits box, select Coll: Sound Recordings

Click Go
Musical recordings are located in the Music Listening Lab (Rm. 236 Music/Mass Communications
Building).
To search the music recordings located in the Music
Listening Lab:

Click here to
search the Music Collection

Choose the desired index (subject, title, author, or anywhere
keyword) and enter your search term(s).

Click Go
To search Felix Online Catalog for scores or other written music
at the library:

Click the Advanced tab

Choose the desired index (subject, title, author, or anywhere
keyword) from the drop-down box and enter your search term(s)

In the Limits box, select Media: Music Scores

Click Go
When searching for a particular musical composition, use the
following search indexes:

To search for a composer, use Author Keyword
-
To search for a particular work, use Title Keyword
-
Also try the composer and/or title (especially of shorter works)
in Anywhere Keyword.

Use Subject Keyword to search for the form or instrumentation (for
example: Cantatas, Secular or Horn and Piano Music)
