BioOne is a database created by a collaboration among scientific societies, libraries, academe, and the commercial sector to provide expanded access to scientific research especially focusing on the biological, ecological and environmental sciences.  The BioOne bibliographic database is an indexed and fully-searchable collection of abstracts from the BioOne organization.

Full-text note:  Only citations and abstracts are available through BioOne.  In addition, Woodward Library does not have full-text access for all the journals indexed by this database.  To determine if full text is available in electronic or print format from Woodward Library, please check Find Periodicals for your journal name (see Accessing Articles from Periodicals for more information).

If full-text for a desired article is not available from APSU, the article may be requested through Inter-Library Loan (see about ILLiad for information on how to request articles through ILL).

Dates of Coverage:

A few journals are covered back to 1920, with the majority being covered from 2000.
