Many of the Library’s vital resources and services are
electronic. These computerized services include Felix, the Horizon integrated
library management system, which went online in January 1995, and
access to a variety of electronic indexes and
databases. The Technology Resources Department is responsible for providing the university community
with reliable access to these electronic library resources for both
on-campus and off-campus users. The Technology Resources Department also has
responsibility for managing and maintaining 9 servers, 11 networked
printers, and approximately 100 public access computers,
24 LIR computers, and staff computers.
