Aaron W. Dobbs
The Network Services Librarian; an Assistant Professor at Austin Peay State University.
I am responsible for magical feats of technological prowess and daring.
When I'm not busy cutting up and playing the fool, I administer and
maintain the hardware connected to the library network and the software
that is officially licensed for use by library personnel and patrons,
plan for and implement the technical side of upgrades to library
services, play the part of database co-administrator for
Felix G. Cat the Horizon database
underpinning the HIP interface (Horizon Information Portal) you see when you click on the link,
dance around the server rack by light of the moon with peanut
butter to ensure availability, make up answers to questions at the
reference desk and enable students and researchers to access the
information they require via explanations of or brief training with
library resources, provide collection development assistance to the
Business and Computer Science folks as their Librarian Liaison, and
liaise with the Office of Information Technology.
I can be readily contacted by phone (x6408) or, more reliably, by email
(email is my second most preferred method of communication, f2f being
the first), or, if you must, by snail mail: P.O. Box 4595,
Clarksville, TN 37044

much of the same info as on this page, but with less style &

the TAMU student, the NYU student, the UW library person, the
extreme downhill bicyclist, or the guy in the genealogy.
- Google me with the "W." -- isn't that a much
[nicer / shorter / less complete] list? :-)'
