Christina Chester-Fangman
Instruction/First-Year Experience Librarian
As an Instruction Librarian, Christina’s primary
responsibility is working with library and classroom faculty
to integrate information literacy and research skills across
the curriculum. This includes designing and creating
instructional materials, and conducting APSU 1000 and Information
Literacy sessions for library users.
Christina also serves as the library
liaison to the
Nursing,
Political Science, and
Professional Studies Departments, the responsibilities
of which include collection development and instruction in
these areas. She also enjoys serving as the librarian
and providing research support for a number of online
upper-division courses in those disciplines
including Current Issues in Leadership, Theoretical
Foundations of Advanced Nursing Practice, Advanced Nursing
Research, the Nursing Education Practicum, and the
Professional Studies Capstone Course.
