Library Assessment Advisory Committee
Description
The Woodward Library Assessment Advisory Committee’s primary responsibility is to guide and support the development and implementation of library assessment initiatives. By examining best practices in library assessment, the committee aims to provide valuable insights to enhance the effectiveness and impact of library services and resources.
Committee responsibilities include:
- Actively participate in the implementation of the library's assessment plan, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives and mission.
- Define and establish benchmarks for data collection, setting clear standards for measuring the library's performance and user satisfaction.
- Determine best practices in library assessment to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Meeting Frequency
The Assessment Advisory Committee will meet three times per semester. Additional meetings may be scheduled, if needed.
Membership
Committee members represent multiple library units. The Assessment Coordinator and Associate Director of Library Services serve as ex officio members.
Other members will serve a two or three-years, with the option of serving an additional term.
