Library Display Committee

Description

The Library Display Committee is responsible for creating and curating informative and interesting displays covering timely topics such as heritage months, milestones, and other relevant themes. The committee is responsible for the Featured Books shelves near the front entrance, the Popular Reading Collection, the area outside of room 209, and the display cases on the main floor. Additional portable display walls are available for use in larger displays. The committee is also responsible for collaborating with other units on campus to highlight campus events, celebrations, etc.

Meeting Frequency

The Display Committee will meet on an as needed basis.

Membership

Membership is open to library faculty and staff interested in creating displays and exhibits. Members may volunteer or may be appointed by the Library Director. The Library Communication and Outreach Specialist serves as an ex officio member.

The terms begin on January 1 and conclude on December 31. Members may serve consecutive terms without gaps, and there are no term limits.
