Library Website Committee

Description

The purpose of the Website Committee is to oversee and maintain the design and underlying technology of the Woodward Library website.

The responsibilities include:

  • maintaining the integrity and accessibility of the Woodward Library website,
  • reviewing, updating, and ensuring the accuracy of the content, and
  • ensuring the website stays current with new technologies and best practices modeled after the university style guidelines.

While the Library’s units are responsible for their own content, the Website Committee’s responsibilities include making recommendations to improve content, organization, design, and enhancements that will meet the needs of the university community.

Meeting Frequency

The Website Committee will meet monthly for the website code review and on an as needed basis.

Membership

The committee consists of four permanent members as defined in their job descriptions.
