Gina Nigro
University College Research Librarian
Gina develops and implements effective library initiatives, collaborations, and partnerships to support high impact practices that meet the current and future needs of students. She works closely with institutional stakeholders to enhance and promote these practices through student engagement and retention efforts. Additionally, she advocates for student success by promoting library services and resources. Gina teaches Honors 1045 – Fundamentals of Interdisciplinary Thinking, HONR 2220 - Cultural Conversations, UNIV 1000 – Freshman Seminar, UNIV 1010 - Freshman Seminar, HON 1000 - Freshman Seminar, and PELP 1000 - Freshman Seminar. She teaches information literacy, providing reference and research services. Gina serves as the Subject Librarian to the Department of Art+Design, the Culinary Arts program, the Liberal Arts program, the Department of History and Philosophy, and University Success.
