Gina Nigro
Honors College and Military Affairs Research Librarian
Gina serves as the Honors College and Military Affairs Research Librarian, providing leadership for library services and initiatives at the Austin Peay Center at Fort Campbell (APC@FC) while supporting the academic and research needs of Honors College students, faculty, and the military-affiliated community. At Fort Campbell, she leads the development and delivery of library services, programming, outreach, research support, and collaborative initiatives designed to strengthen student engagement and academic success. As an instructor, Gina teaches Honors courses, including HONR 1045 – Fundamentals of Interdisciplinary Thinking, HONR 2220 – Cultural Conversations, and HONR 1000 – Freshman Seminar. She also provides information literacy instruction and individualized research consultations to help students develop the skills necessary to locate, evaluate, and effectively use information.
Gina serves as the Subject Librarian to the Department of Art+Design and works closely with the Honors College and Austin Peay Center at Fort Campbell to develop collections, provide research support, and connect students and faculty with library resources and services.
