American Psychological Assocation (APA) Style Guide Tutorial
Project Development and Credits
The Felix G. Woodward Library was approached by Dr. John McConnell and Dr. Anthony Sanders with the idea of creating a video to instruct students in proper use of the American Psychological Association (APA) style guide, similar to the one the Library had created for the Plagiarism: Making the Right Choices tutorial. The tutorial would be hosted on the Library website, just as the Plagiarism tutorial is, and instructors would be able to request use of the tutorial for their classes.
The video's script was created by Christina Chester-Fangman, with the assistance of Anna Loftus, a graduate student in the Education program. Storyboards were created by Gina Garber. The video itself was produced by Scott Shumate and directed by Gina Garber, using the voices of Christina Chester-Fangman, Anna Loftus, Dr. Anthony Sanders, and Scott Shumate. The tutorial software was adapted from the existing Plagiarism tutorial by Scott Shumate. Music for the tutorial was provided by Jarrod Jackson.
