Library Reservation-Only Study Rooms
The Woodward Library provides individual and group study space. There are group study rooms for students on the third floor that are available by reservation only. The group study rooms are accessible spaces with seating capacity ranging from 6 to 16 students. All of the rooms have power outlets and Wi-fi, and some include a dry erase board and markers, as well as a large-screen projection monitor. The rooms are for studying and working on group projects.
Policy
The reservation-only group study rooms may be reserved by a currently-enrolled APSU student for use during the Library's operating hours. Each student may reserve a maximum time of two hours per day for their study group. The reservation-only study rooms will be locked when not in use. Students who reserve these study rooms check out the key for the appropriate room from the Access Services Desk by showing their APSU ID and their email reservation confirmation. Students must return the key to the Access Services Desk. If the key is not returned, a replacement fee of $3.00 may be added to the student's library account, per the Replacement Fee for Lost or Damaged Library Materials Policy.
Students are responsible for abiding by the "Code of Student Conduct & University Rules" as outlined in the Austin Peay State University Student Handbook & Calendar. Students who abuse the privilege of using a group study room may be blocked from the reservation system.
