Library Policies

The Felix G. Woodward Library at Austin Peay State University (APSU) has established policies to ensure access to Library resources and services for all users, including students, faculty, staff, administration, and the broader community. The goal of these policies is to provide effective access to informationm support academic endeavors, and foster a welcoming environment for all users by encouraging respectful conduct. The Library must adhere to institutional (University), state, regional, and national policies, regulations, and standards, and ensure compliance with legal requirements, accreditation standards, and guidelines set by professional associations. These policies will be reviewed to ensure effectiveness and relevance at the start of each academic year or as needed by the Director of Library Services in conjunction with members of the responsible Library Unit, as indicated below:

The Library provides access to information in a variety of formats. To encourage the responsible use of our physical materials, the Library has established policies related to borrowing privileges.
